Another quality show

The doors closed on Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2025 on Tuesday, marking another successful chapter for the UK's only nursery trade event. Early feedback from exhibitors and visitors alike points to a resoundingly positive experience, with many praising the show's strong focus on quality interactions, professional organisation, and productive business opportunities.
While this year's event featured a more streamlined floor plan, the atmosphere throughout the Harrogate Convention Centre reflected a clear theme: quality over quantity. Exhibitors reported meaningful conversations, valuable connections, and genuine commercial outcomes.
Debbie Grant of Cheeky Rascals commented:
"Despite the show being smaller this year, we likely had our best year yet in terms of quality meetings with serious buyers. Harrogate continues to be an invaluable opportunity to connect with both current and prospective partners in a setting that allows us to showcase our latest launches, network, and engage with industry colleagues in a more relaxed atmosphere."
Nick Paxton of Silver Cross added:
"Even in a tough market, we had a great show, we ran a full diary and every significant player we expected showed. The organisation was excellent, less intrusive than previous years and we even got away with an extra 20 minutes on our after-show party! I really hope the show was a success for all, we are looking forward to next year."
First-time exhibitors also shared enthusiastic feedback. Corinna Links of German brand Kindsgut praised the professionalism and collaboration behind the scenes:
"As first-time exhibitors, we had a truly positive experience. The entire team – from the venue staff to logistics, stand construction, and catering – was exceptionally friendly, solution-oriented, and professional. It was clear that everyone involved worked closely together and cared about making the event a success."
"We also really appreciated the high quality of exhibitors on site. The overall curation was excellent. No overload, just well-selected, inspiring brands. Compared to other fairs, this felt refreshingly focused and relevant. The pre-show PR opportunities (like the newsletter feature) and the online portal with all deadlines and information were also great. Communication was fast, helpful, and always proactive."
Echoing this sentiment, Emma Bishop of Little Paws, Big Memories said:
"Thank you for a wonderful show. As our first time as exhibitors we were really impressed with the whole event and organisation. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and we made some wonderful connections with retailers and other exhibitors! We will be back!"
Show organiser Adrian Sneyd concluded:
"It has without doubt been a difficult year for the UK nursery industry, but Harrogate International Nursery Fair demonstrates how businesses all pull together to not only support each other but also this important – and only – UK nursery trade event. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Harrogate in 2026."
The next Harrogate International Nursery Fair will take place from 18th to 20th October 2026 at the Harrogate Convention Centre. Priority booking opens this December.
