Nursery Fair unlocks new potential for 2017
The UK’s only baby trade show is open for booking and offers a fresh new approach with lots of exciting opportunities for 2017.
For the very first time, Harrogate International Nursery Fair’s doors will open mid-week from Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th March allowing buyers to attend for the full three days without work encroaching on their weekend. Also, all of the exhibition halls for 2017 will be on the same level making it easier for visitors regardless of the entrance they arrive at. This includes Halls A, B, C, M, the King’s Suite and Hall Q of the Harrogate International Centre with a new entrance utilised via the King’s Suite.
Adrian Sneyd, show organiser, explains: “Historically, the show always opened on a Sunday as the majority of retailers were closed for business; however, now it is a busy working day like any other so it makes sense to move the show to mid-week. This allows multiple retailers and department store buyers more time at the show too as generally they have to squeeze their visit into Monday afternoon and Tuesday which has shorter opening hours.”
Adrian continues: “Nursery Fair has always prided itself on its history and longevity – the show has been running for 47 years – however, it now has international reach and we hope that new branding and a fresh new approach will reflect its vibrancy going forward.”
Companies exhibiting in 2016 reported excellent business with a number of new retailers visiting for the very first time. Sinead Murphy from Shnuggle said: “Harrogate did it again! We were really pleased with the visitors to our stand and of course the new business. Independent nursery stores and major retailers were out in force. The best place to see the latest baby product innovation coming out of the UK.”
Richard Bamforth of DCUK added: “We had a very successful show and saw over 80% of our existing customer base and had some very interesting new sales leads. For the second year, retailers were able to spend more quality time with us and sales of our new brands thrived. A very busy and worthwhile three days.”
Companies which exhibited in 2016 have priority booking and until 30th June 2016 to either re-book the same position for 2017 or to request a new location. Full information about the show, 2017 rates and booking forms are available on the website.
